Bethany Grace Stawasz
	Since size was 3 years old; Bethany has participated in many Centennial events, including festivals, parades, Detroit ‘flyers Polish-American Nights, and recitals. She is proud of the fact that she has shown enthusiasm for the dance troupe throughout all her years. Following graduation, Beth hopes to return to dance for a 16th year.
At Divine Child high School; Beth has been on the Highest Honor Roll since freshman year. She received departmental awards in ‘English, Fine Arts, French, History, Religion, and Science. At DC, Beth has participated in a large variety of programs, including Jazz, Liturgical; Varsity, and ‘Women’s Choruses; Drama and French clubs; Homeroom Representative; and the school literary magazine staff Her specialty seems to be writing, winning several statewide contests in the past year.
Beth has studied the harp since age 7. She has gigged since age 12 at City of Westland functions, conventions, the festival of ‘Trees, receptions, the Sweet Afton ‘Tea Room, and weddings. She has been a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Harp ‘Ensemble since age 8. Her best musical memories are of orchestra. She is principal harpist for Detroit Symphony Civic Orchestra, ‘Eastern Michigan ‘University Orchestra, and Livonia Youth Philharmonic. ‘This past year, she won a scholarship from the Dearborn Symphony Orchestra to aid her in her private musical studies. She plans to double major in Harp Performance and Journalism or Public Relations at ‘Eastern Michigan ‘University next fall 2004.
In her spare time, Beth enjoys baking/cooking, exercising, listening to classical music, looking at fashion magazines, reading, sewing, shopping, watching hockey, writing, and spending time with her boyfriend and her family.
