Henry J Dryovage Jr. is an internationally known 3D animation developer. His work has been seen from most anywhere on this planet in the "World Beyond War" premier simulcast that connected 7 continents with satellite technology, the first if its kind of this magnitude. Additionally, he developed a world-wide spectacle of animated graphics for the "International World Cup Soccer Tournament”. Other broadcast projects include: flying logos in television for the San Francisco 49ers; Northern California Honda Dealers; the Bay Area Oldsmobile Dealers “Go Olds” promotion; Hewlett Packard and TRW. Locally, productions he worked on include The Warren Unity Church of Today and Detroit's own TV 56. He produced character animations for General Motors / Campbell - Ewald Advertising, and contributed to Apple Computer’s roll out of a new line of laptops. Mr. Dryovage began his animation and effects career in the San Francisco bay area. He used traditional arts and craft techniques with a team of modelers, producing miniatures of the San Francisco Financial District and enabled the now infamous Lucas Film Studio to fly their motion-controlled camera over the Bay Bridge, up Market Street, and into your home if you lived in the North Beach district! The “When You Need News” show, produced in San Francisco for NBC/KRON-TV, won an Emmy and three Clio nominations and Best Broadcast Design Award from the Broadcast Designers Association, BDA. A Level II certified Softimage 3D instructor, Mr. Dryovage spent one year participation in the development of Softimage XSI, code named Sumatra and later renamed XSI. A 3 year veteran and master of the Art of Maya for animators He developed and taught a number of Computer Graphic courses at the College for Creative Studies. Additionally Dryovage teaches at Henry Ford, Macomb, Washtenaw and Wayne Community District Colleges, ITT Technical and is a freelance consultant specializing in CGI rendering. |
